Private dog training in your home working with your family and dog. I offer four to six sessions held once a week. Training material is also provided. I will develop a training program designed on the specific issues you are having with your dog. Good manners training includes teaching your dog to focus their attention on you, to come when called, to stop jumping on you and company. We also work on walking issues, begging at the dinner table, potty training, dogs that dash out the door and whatever other problem you are having. Obedience training includes teaching your dog to control their impulses by training your dog to sit, stay, lay down. I also work with scared or shy dogs to bring them out of their shells and enjoy life. I use positive reinforcement methods only. I will never hurt or intimidate your dog, in fact the training will be enjoyable for your dog, and even you! I train fun games to play with your dog that enrich their lives and teach them behaviors we want them to repeat. I will show you the fascinating ways your dog communicate with you all the time thru body language.

Training is offered in the Buffalo and Southtowns area. Training sessions are $45.00 each and run approximately 2 hours per session. For 2 dogs in the same household the fee is only $55.00 per session. For certain locations their is a mileage charge. I also offer a dog walking service in the Orchard Park, East Aurora area from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Good for puppies who need potty breaks, good for dogs who need to learn how to walk politely on a loose leash since I will work with your dog. For a half hour walk, the fee is $11.00, offered Monday thru Friday, 3 to 5 times per week. I also offer a 1 hour service which includes a walk, play/exercise session and training your dog for you! Great for people who don't have time to train. The fee for the 1 hour service is $20.00 per hour, minimum 3 times per week.

I am a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT), Southtowns Dog Training Club and a volunteer at the Erie County SPCA. I can also work with you to prepare your dog for Canine Good Citizens (CGC) test. I am fully insured and bonded. References are available upon request. No dog is too old to be trained.
